This detached fresco is from a series of four ovals that were designed by Tiepolo and painted by his workshop for the decoration of the corners of the ceiling of a room in the Palazzo Valle-Marchesini-Sala in Vicenza. The attribute of the vase identifies the allegorical figure as representing Temperance.

Atturība was made by the rococo artist Džovanni Batista Tiepolo. The original was painted with the size - Oval, 55 7/8 x 48 in (141,9 x 121,9 cm). Giovanni Battista Tiepolo was a male painter, printmaker, whose style was mainly Rococo. The Italian painter lived for a total of 74 gadiem, born in 1696 in Venice, Venezia province, Veneto, Italy and died in the year 1770.
