The circle around Emil Jakob Schindler (Marie Egner, Carl Moll, Olga Wisinger-Florian, Eugen Jettel, Rudolf Ribarz, Robert Russ and others) preferred inconspicuous motifs in a close-up manner for their pictures (which were therefore maliciously referred to as "pieces of cabbage and turnip"). One of the most beautiful examples of this is this picture by Olga Wisinger-Florian. The painter seems to lift herself up in the middle of the poppy field, the horizon is very high, so that the wide plain appears almost infinite. This is a completely new perspective - which pushes the actual landscape into the background and suddenly shifts the insignificant detail from the foreground to the centre of the view. This also results in a kind of penetration of still life and landscape - as Marie Egner consciously did later. It is also the consistent continuation of the clipping of the "paysages intimes" of the 1870s. Although Wisinger-Florian was a pupil of Schindler's, she was such a strong personality, both artistically and constitutionally, that a competitive situation arose from the teacher-pupil relationship. Pictures in tone-on-tone mood painting were certainly influenced by Schindler, but she increasingly turned to colorfulness with bright, strong colors [Dietrun Otten, 2002]

  • Iespiests akrila stikls ar spīdīgu efektu: A glossy print on acrylic glass, often described as a an art print on plexiglass, makes the original artwork into stunning décor. The great upside of an acrylic glass art print is that sharp contrasts as well as granular details will be recognizeable due to the subtle tonal gradation of the picture.
  • Plakāts (audekla materiāls): The poster print is a UV printed cotton canvas with a nice finish on the surface, which resembles the actual version of the masterpiece. Please bear in mind, that depending on the absolute size of the poster we add a white margin of around 2 - 6cm around the artwork, which facilitates the framing with your custom frame.
  • Audekls: The canvas direct print is a printed canvas stretched on a wood stretcher. A canvas print of your favorite artwork will let you turn your custom art print into a large work of art as you would see in a gallery. Canvas prints are relatively low in weight, which implies that it is easy to hang the Canvas print without the help of extra wall-mounts. Hence, a canvas print is suited for any type of wall.
  • Metāls (alumīnija dibondraksts): Aluminium Dibond prints are metal prints with an impressive effect of depth, which creates a modern impression thanks to a non-reflective surface structure. For your Print On Aluminum Dibond, we print the artwork onto the surface of the white-primed aluminum composite.
